What is the financial condition/rating for my bank?
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency cannot give out confidential supervisory information about specific banks. The national banking system is safe and sound, with many customer deposits insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
The FDIC's BankFind website provides information that can help you assess the condition of a bank, such as
- when the bank was established,
- if or when it became FDIC-insured,
- the most recent quarterly Report of Condition and Income, and
- a copy of the bank's Uniform Bank Performance Report.
